National Weather Service

Taylor Nicolaisen is one of 13 meteorologists currently employed by the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley. We issue public forecasts and watches/warnings/advisories 24 hours a day for 38 counties in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. NWS Omaha/Valley is one of 122 weather forecast offices across the US and its territories. Before working at the NWS, Taylor was a broadcast meteorologist for multiple TV stations in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
