Greg Youell is the Executive Director of the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA).  Since 2012 he has served as the chief executive of MAPA, which connects the communities of the Greater Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area on a broad range of activities, including transportation planning, community development and projects involving intergovernmental coordination.  He began his work at MAPA in 2002, where he has held the positions of Transportation Planner and Transportation and Data Manager.  He was named one of the Midlands Business Journal’s 40-under-40 in 2015.  Prior to his work at MAPA, Greg worked at the Mid America Regional Council (MARC) in Kansas City, and is a graduate of the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk).
