Omaha Millard Rotary Honors Wendy Adelson
The Golden Wheel Awards were developed to honor those who exemplify Rotary’s principle motto, Service Above Self.
Wendy Adelson truly lives a life that is focused and centered on service above self. Wendy endured the tragedy of her son’s death in the line of service, USMC Cpl Daegan Page. She continues to work tirelessly to support others across the Omaha/Millard Community and to provide support across the nation as a Gold Star Mother. Wendy is an advocate for helping others. She unconsciously applies the Rotary four-way test principles in everything she does and can be seen and felt in all the families and mothers she supports through the CPL Daegan Page Foundation and her work as a Gold Star Mother.
