Angela Smith is a long-time Omaha resident with more than fifteen years’ experience focused on building and strengthening the capacity of nonprofit service organizations. In her role at Spark, Angela leads the Spark Developer Academy, helping to provide technical assistance to emerging real estate development professionals who identify as BIPOC, women or gender expansive individuals. Her recent volunteer service includes serving as Board Chair for the Nebraska Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association and as Treasurer for her children’s elementary school PTA.
