Born and raised in the western Nebraskan town of Paxton, population 500, it's easy to see why Greg ended up managing private clubs. Ok, maybe not so much! After moving to Omaha for high school, Greg was part of a state championship golf team at Skutt Catholic and went on to play collegiately at Creighton University. Greg is a PGA Golf Professional and a Certified Club Manager from the Club Management Association of America. Club management has taken him to Kansas City to Burlington, Iowa and back to Omaha. Greg and Samantha (a physician at Children's Nebraska) have two sports crazy children; one son, Grayson (6), and a daughter, Peyton (PJ, 4 going on 30). When not at the Club, you'll find Greg with his family at Nebraska Football or Creighton Basketball games; the epitome of a true Jaysker. |

Outreach Patient Advocates

I am Becky Korinek, and this is something of a second career for me. I’ve been an educator for over thirty years, and, although I’m still keeping my toe in teaching, I am thrilled to be joining OPA and helping Nicky fulfill her mission of helping clients navigate the healthcare system. My own health care history is long and varied. I’ve always had chronic asthma, and of course as we get older, it just gets more complicated! I recently navigated the world of back surgery, and that was a big wake-up Together with my two sisters, I help my 87-year old mother with her health needs, too. I know how complicated Medicare and supplemental insurance can be, as well as juggling multiple doctors appointments and medications. As an educator, I come to OPA with a teaching mindset. My goal is to help others to advocate for themselves. I look forward to helping clients with their health care needs. |

Hjemkomst Consulting/Coaching

As the oldest of three, I took on adult responsibilities when my dad died when I was eight. I wanted to be a vulcanologist when younger, (think Pierce Brosnan in Dante's Peak) or an earth scientist like Helen Hunt in Twister. Instead, I went down a path involving a series of poor decisions. With no guardrails of middle-class lifestyle to contain me, I dropped out of high school and began shift work at a sugar factory. One night on a graveyard shift I 'woke up' and realized that without major changes, I would work in that factory until I died. A friend was going to college orientation, and I tagged along. Interests Strong leadership skills are essential as we face many challenges in our world. I believe that every voice matters, everyone has dignity and value. We are stronger together. |
