Allyson is the Donor Relations Manager for College Possible Omaha. She works with individual/annual giving, community campaigns like Do Good Week and Giving Tuesday, and is the staff partner for Champions for College Possible and alumni programming. Allyson received her education from Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Arts Management, a Master of Arts in Arts Administration, and a Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. She believes in College Possible because college was a transformative and life shaping experience for her and everyone who desires this opportunity should have it available to them regardless of background and family financial position. Allyson moved to Omaha at the beginning of 2019 with her husband Jason Triplett. She is also actively involved with the Junior League of Omaha and Toastmasters. |

Millard Public Schools Superintendent

Dr. Jim Sutfin has been the superintendent of Millard Public Schools since - 2014. During his time, he has moved Millard to a one-to-one school district with a laptop or iPad for every student. At the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, Millard was already one-to-one from third through fifth grades. The district quickly stepped up in the spring of 2021 to provide a device for all children, preschool through 12th grades to provide remote learning during the pandemic closure in spring 2020. By fall 2020 the district was able to reopen both in person and remotely for all students, operating continuously throughout the school year. Additional initiatives under Dr. Sutfin’s watch include the #BeKind community movement and #TeachUp campaigns, bringing the first Boys and Girls Club to Millard. In 2019 Dr. Sutfin was named a Superintendent to Watch by the National School Public Relations Association. In 2021 he was selected as Superintendent of the Year by the Nebraska Association of School Administrators. Previous to being Superintendent, Dr. Sutfin served as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in Millard. He began his career in education in 1989 as a science teacher with the Bellevue Public Schools. While serving the Bellevue Public Schools, Dr. Sutfin not only taught English and Biology, but he also served as Student Council sponsor as well as assistant coach in football and track. In the fall of 1995, Dr. Sutfin moved to Millard West High School as an Advanced Placement Biology teacher, Student Council sponsor, and assistant track coach.

A native Minnesotan, Paul Hedren retired from the National Park Service in 2007 after some thirty-seven years as a park historian and superintendent at such storied places as Fort Laramie, Wyoming, the Golden Spike Site in Utah, Fort Union in North Dakota, and the Niobrara Scenic River in Nebraska. He devotes his time now to writing. Paul is the author of scores of scholarly and popular articles appearing in magazines and journals far and wide, plus twelve books, nearly all pertaining to the Great Sioux War of 1876-77. He particularly enjoys studying and interpreting that conflict’s subtleties and consequences, though he has also written about its great battles. |

Katie Zimmerman joined The Kim Foundation in June 2019. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and Sociology from Central College in Pella, Iowa. Katie’s role at The Kim Foundation includes running the social media accounts, assisting in the Youth Advisory Council, and providing mental health awareness and education to the community through A Voice for Hope and Healing presentations. Katie is also currently enrolled at UNO getting her Master's in school counseling. |

Jason Triplett is the Omaha Metro Field Director for the Mid-America Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He has served in this role since June 2019. An 8-year professional with the BSA, Jason began his career in January 2014 as the White River Trails District Executive of the Hoosier Trails Council in Bloomington, Indiana. Here in Omaha, Jason provides leadership to the 4 team members serving the Black Hawk, Iron Horse, and Wagon Wheel Districts which cover Douglas, Sarpy, and Cass Counties. Outside of Scouting, Jason has been married to his wonderful wife, Allyson, for 3 years. He is an avid reader and DIY-er, and he and Allyson love cooking new recipes and trying new restaurants. Jason has been a Rotarian for nearly 7 years, first joining the Bedford Rotary Club in Indiana. |

Equine Therapy

Lucy first joined HETRA as a volunteer in 2018 and became HETRA’s Development Specialist in 2019 with a focus on grant writing. She is currently training to become a PATH Intl. certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and is expected to be fully certified by May, 2021. She particularly enjoys sharing with others the powerful bond that is created between humans and horses through grant writing and public speaking within the community. Lucy graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Agriculture in Animal Science & Industry with an Equine Certificate. She then went on to obtain her Master of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a focus on Environmental & Agricultural Health, where she obtained the Outstanding Student in Public Health Practice award as well as an award for Outstanding Research Project. Lucy has a special interest in the concept of One Health, the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. She previously served as a Research Assistant at the Central States Center of Agricultural Health. She has also worked in the areas of veterinary medicine and volunteer coordinating. Originally from Neligh, Nebraska, Jessica Brabec is the Tournament Director at the Pinnacle Bank Championship. Having earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wayne State College, Jessica worked as the Operations Director of the Cox Classic after school. From there, she worked for Bruno Event Team as the Volunteer Director/Tournament Manager at the Principal Charity Classic. Jessica has been the Tournament Director of the Pinnacle Bank Championship since it’s inception six years ago. She and her husband Steven reside in Omaha with their three children Harry, Ava, and Eleanor. Alexis Boulos has been the Director of Operations for the Pinnacle Bank Championship since its inaugural year on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2017. Born and raised in Omaha and a graduate of Westside High School, Alexis attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned her Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in Television Broadcasting. Her career in athletics has spanned nearly 20 years in sports broadcasting, collegiate and professional sports management. She has had the privilege of working with Creighton University, ESPN, SFX Sports Group and The PGA TOUR. She is passionate about impacting her community and enjoys volunteering for Westside Community Schools where her children Niko (14) and Stella (10) attend school, as well as volunteering for the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands, Lauritzen Gardens and All Holy Spirit Greek Orthodox Church. |

Kathryn’s career path has been as unpredictable as a back-door slider. The Council Bluffs, Iowa, native graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a degree in journalism and a secondary teaching certificate. Her job history includes public relations for a community mental health center, a stint working for the Iowa Attorney General and twelve years in the corporate world at Mutual Omaha. While at Mutual, Kathryn managed corporate philanthropy, community relations, and completed several special projects for the chairman and presidents. Kathryn was introduced to the inner workings of the College World Series in 1988 when she was elected to its board of directors. That role expanded after joining her husband, Dan, as a partner in Meeting & Event Design – a full-service convention and event planning company. College World Series, Inc. was one of several accounts but quickly expanded to absorb the majority of her time. On June 10, 2008, College World Series of Omaha, Inc. signed an agreement with the NCAA to keep the CWS in Omaha through 2036. With such a long-term commitment, the CWS, Inc. all-volunteer board determined it was time to move from exclusively using out-sourced vendors to full-time staff. Kathryn became the first CWS, Inc. executive director in 2010. Kathryn is a graduate of Leadership Omaha, the Governor of the Nebraska Mayflower Society, an active volunteer for the Dundee-Memorial Park Neighborhood Association and a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. For 36 years, she has been married to Dan-- Omaha’s first Omaha Sports Commission President and founder of Tuk Tuk Omaha. They have two children, Dr. Colleen Morrissey (Valparaiso University, Indiana) and Joe Morrissey, a Charter Financial Analyst and investment banker in Minneapolis. Both were student athletes in college – fencing and basketball respectively. 2022 will be Kathryn’s last Men’s College World Series. After working on the MCWS for 35 years, she will be retiring on September 30. Her colleague, Amy Hornocker, will become executive director on October 1. |

Carol has been a Rotarian since 2005 and was President of her club, Rotary Club of Council Bluffs, in 2010-11. She has served District 5650 as District Trainer, and Area Governor. During her year as District Governor, Carol’s primary focus will be on increasing member diversity and building a strong sense of belonging in the Rotary Clubs of District 5650. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and sustaining member of The Rotary Foundation. Her Rotary awards include: 2013 Rotary International Avenues of Service Citation; 2016 and 2018 District Chair of the Year; and 2017 Rotarian of the Year for her Club. She is a facilitator for Rotary Leadership Institute – Heartland USA Division. Carol Horner is President and Founder of Synchronicity, Inc. She works with companies and organizations that want their employees, teams, and leaders to "be in synch" and make impact. Carol integrates diversity, equity, and inclusion in all her work. She is currently authoring a book about her Spiral of Accountability Model. Carol enjoys wine and scuba diving although not at the same time! She also enjoys exercise, sports, kayaking, golf, and the outdoors. Her favorite thing about being a Rotarian is her opportunity to be a part of saving the world!
